Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is just what the name
says---the people of God centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are as old-fashioned
as the truth and as contemporary as today. We stand unashamed in the
confession of the Bible as the very Word of God, and true and reliable in
all that it teaches.
We worship in the familiar patterns of the church throughout the ages, sing
the great hymns of the faith, and hold forth the message of God's great
love for us in Jesus Christ through sermons rooted squarely in both Law and
Gospel. We seek to nourish and encourage the faithful, and sweetly to
invite the troubled soul and the seeker, by means of God's great gift of
grace through His Word.
If you are looking for truth, hungering for peace, seeking a foundation
which will not move, we invite you to join us in the Word of God and
worship, which is built on the Rock of Jesus Christ. "Come now, let
us reason together," say the Lord, "though your
sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they are red like
crimson, they will be like wool."
