Lake Emily is a small, family-owned resort and campground that provides
guests with easy access to a rich array of outdoor activities, including
hiking, fishing, swimming, biking, waterskiing, volleyball, horseback-riding,
ATV trails, or even just lounging on the beach!

Situated on 7 wooded acres, Lake Emily Resort and Campground is
itself surrounded by the region's vast red and white pine forests,
a delight for walkers, runners, bicyclists and anyone who likes
getting away from it all.

Easy to get to
and near just what you want.
Located
35 miles northeast of Brainerd, Lake Emily Resort and Campground
is a place where you'll have no trouble finding plenty to do. We're
just ½ mile from the Clinton-Converse State Forest, which
provides guests with terrific hiking, biking, horseback-riding,
and ATV opportunities (these trails are also groomed for snowmobiles
in the winter). The Emily
State Forest is just a 10 minute walk from our resort. And
walkers and bicyclists
will be thrilled to learn that the historic Paul
Bunyan traileasily accessed from the beautiful Manhatten
Beach Trailis only a 15 minute car ride away.

Golfers
will find excellent public courses just 5 minutes down the road,
and tennis enthusiasts can indulge
their passion on our local courts. Two of the area's finest riding
stables are located within a short drive of our resort, providing
horse lovers
with ample chances for a memorable summer ride.
Lake
Emily is tucked away in the heart of lake country, less
than 30 minutes from the popular destinations of Nisswa, Crosby
and Cross Lake. Fantastic antique shopping, casinos, amusement and
water parks, miniature golf and more awaits you! Families will have
a ball at Paul Bunyan Land, only a half hour away (now located at
The Old Farm, Brainerd, but movingcloser to Lake Emilyin
the Spring of 2004).
